About Us...

Quick Clean Car & Pet Wash Store, Ltd. is the culmination of 20 months of research and development from conception to opening for Paul and Linda Doerr.  Formed as an LLC entity in January 2004, ground was broken in March 2005 and the business opened in July 2005.

Paul has been involved in the trucking industry for 25 years as a sales representative, sales manager and branch manager for one of the nation’s largest LTL motor carriers.  Growing up in Green Township (now the City of Green) and graduating from the University of Akron with a degree in business management, Paul has been an active real estate investor in the local market for the last 12 years.

Linda has worked for a well known Akron based grocery concern for 11 years as a systems analyst and a financial analyst.  Also, a graduate of the University of Akron, Linda possesses an Associates Degree in Computer Science, Bachelors in Accounting, Masters Degree in Finance and an Ohio C.P.A. accreditation.  Linda financed many years of evening and weekend classes while working full-time at a former Akron based Rubber Company.

Quick Clean is the partnership of two business professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit.  An opportunity for us to meld vast real life business experiences with our passion for automobiles and canines.  Our quest is to offer the public a wash experience unequalled in our markets. 

The Pet Wash is just for the fun of it!  We hope to help educate the public on the importance of good health, welfare and treatment for our canine friends and to contribute to charitable canine causes, such as the Humane Society of Greater Akron, the Animal Protective League of Portage County and others.  As the proud owners of two AKC Labrador Retrievers, we’ve experienced the joys and travails of washing at home.  We’ve chosen to build a self-serve pet wash facility that offers you the amenities to make this necessary chore a fun experience for the whole family.  By the way, the inspiration for our logo is our Yellow Labrador Retriever, Sammy, who you may see wandering around should you visit our wash.  Our Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Krissi, may be seen not  far behind Sammy wherever they are traveling.
